BIOGRAPHY

Reney was born in Germany in 2004 and moved to the UK in 2009 and attended private school for primary and later Grammar school. She embraces both her western and Asian sides – as well as the fact that she speaks German and Tamil.
The German-Srilankan singer-songwriter started her music career at the age of 6, learning South Indian classical music, and doing shows with Sigaram since 2018. At the age of 14 it became clear that she had a passion for Pop and decided to pursue it further. Basing her songs around real-life events and experiences, her songs aim not only motivate young adults and teenagers but relate to the emotions young people can feel when growing up.

In April of 2019, Reney co-wrote her debut single “I Got Love” with singer-songwriter Eniola in Hamburg, Germany, produced by Princeten Charles, released just over a year later in 2020.

As well as making music, Reney hopes to grow academically and help the world in ways other than heartfelt music. Hoping to enter the medical scene, she says “helping people in any way is rewarding and special, whether that’s through connecting with relatable songs or saving a life.”  Music is a way to help and connect with people all over the world –
